Andrew is an NHS consultant psychiatrist working in Exeter with Devon Partnership NHS Trust, providing diagnostic and treatment services for adults with ADHD. He has published on psychosomatic disorders, depression, schizophrenia, eating disorders, substance misuse, self-harm, ECT, and historical aspects of psychiatry.

There are additional publications concerning the complexities of biodiversity, people and ecosystem health.
